The project executed by Haif Contracting Company is one of the pioneering projects in the southern region of Saudi Arabia. It involves the construction of 21 security centers, distributed between the Asir region (12 centers) and the Jizan region (9 centers). These centers are designed using the latest architectural, structural, and security standards to meet the needs of the beneficiary entities. The facilities include police stations, traffic departments, anti-drug departments, civil defense centers, and administrative buildings.
Ninety percent of the sites have been handed over to the beneficiary entities, with full project completion expected by the end of 2024. Haif Contracting Company will continue to be responsible for full maintenance as per the agreement with the Ministry of Interior, along with providing necessary training for personnel to ensure the optimal use of all project systems.
The project has a value exceeding half a billion Saudi riyals, with approximately 2,000 workers, technicians, engineers, and employees from Haif involved in its execution. In addition, around 40 specialized companies contributed to the supply and execution of specialized works. Some of these companies include Schindler for elevators, Zamil for air conditioning, Al-Suwaidi, Bahra, Red Sea Cables, Cummins, and Kohler for generators, among others. The project was executed under the supervision of Haif’s technical office, which is specialized in all engineering fields, in coordination with the renowned consulting firm “Khatib & Alami,” appointed to review designs and oversee implementation. The project was continuously supported by its owner, the Ministry of Interior.
