1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineer.
2. Internationally recognized certification in auditing quality management systems, ISO 9001 or equivalent.
3. Shall be aware of various international standards such as ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, IBC, ANSI, AAMA, UPC, IPC, ASME, NFPA, ASHRAE, SMACNA, AWS, etc.
1. 10-15 years professional experience in the construction industry (civil, oil & gas or any other land based construction industry) with 5 years managing quality system activities.
2. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point & PDF editor.
4. Possess technical knowledge about the workflow of various construction activities, various sampling & testing activities performed.
5. Shall be capable of preparing Project Quality Plans (PQP), Quality Procedures (such as NCR, SOR, WIR, MIR, Document Control, submittals, etc.), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) & training materials.
6. Secure Employer’s approval for QC personnel.
7. Capable of assigning the right QC staff as per their strengths & provide required QC coverage to all ongoing activities. Maintain a QA/QC team org. chart with reporting relationships, internal & external lines of communication and interfaces with subcontractor & suppliers’ staff.
8. Shall be capable of auditing suppliers’ QMS, review supplier’s ITP, assign inspector’s at the fabrication location for critical materials.
9. Shall be capable of liaising with 3rd Party Labs for sampling, testing & reporting.
10.Shall be capable of liaising with subcontractor & 3rd Party QC Staff.
11.Furnish weekly quality statistics & monthly reports (Quality KPIs, NCRs, WIR & MIR status, QC personnel mobilization, Training Summary, Equipment Calibration Monitor)
12.Shall facilitate periodic internal audits.
13.Conduct trainings, participate in activity kick-off meetings, facilitate periodic Management Review Meetings.
